College Honors Don Hartman as Alumni of the Year |

Donald
Hartman of Miles City was honored as the Miles Community College
2008 Distinguished Alumni of the Year at spring graduation
ceremonies on May 10, 2008. Darren Pitcher, Dean of Student
Services, presented the award to Mr. Hartman during the
commencement program.
Don Hartman was recognized as the Distinguished Alumni for the
Miles Community College Pioneer Hall of Fame due to his academic
and professional achievements as an individual who began their
educational path at Miles Community College (1967) and has
actively supported the College and community over the past 35
years. Don has been a member of the College Endowment Board of
Trustees since 1976 and has been an active participant in the
Miles Community College Pioneer Booster Club over the past five
years. He is a certified public accountant and community
business owner of Stallard and Associates and is involved in the
Miles City Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus service groups.
The Miles Community College Distinguished Alumni award is
presented annually to a nominated alumnus who has exhibited high
professional achievement, has an established legacy of community
service, and overall gives evidence of lifetime achievement and
service since they began their educational career at Miles
Community College. |
