New Miles Community College Workforce Trainer Hired
 
Kassie TaylorKassie Taylor of Miles City has been hired as the new Workforce Training Coordinator for Miles Community College. She will work with the MAP-WIRED project developing distance education courses for entrepreneurship and biofuels. Kassie will also work with the Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach developing customized workforce training opportunities with community and regional employers.

Ms. Taylor is an eastern Montana native, graduating from Powder River High School. She was previously employed with Miles City First Interstate Bank in the real estate division from 2001-2008. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Kassie’s plans for her position at Miles Community College are to meet the needs of the community through training opportunities and strengthen relationships with partnering tribal colleges through the MAP-WIRED project. She began her duties on June 19.
