New Heavy Equipment Program Instructor Begins Fall 2008 at Miles

Jerry
Forman of Miles City has been hired as the new Miles Community
College Heavy Equipment Program and CDL Instructor. His
responsibilities will include instructing students in the safe
and efficient operations of a wide variety of heavy construction
equipment. He will also be teaching and preparing students for
acquisition of a commercial driver's license (CDL).
Jerry's home area is Miles City with a wide variety of
occupational experience working for a local business and has
been employed with the Custer County Road and Bridge Department
for 30 years. During that time he has been a mechanic, truck
driver, office manager, and heavy equipment operator and
supervisor.
Jerry's goals as instructor are to educate and train students to
a level that will aid businesses in recruiting quality employees
for truck and heavy equipment operation. His ultimate goal is to
have employers look to Miles Community College as their first
choice for future employee prospects.
Jerry begins teaching classes on August 25. |
