Miles Community College employee, Marnie Blotsky, has been named Employee of the Fall 2008 Semester, receiving the MCC Blue and Silver Award. Ms. Blotsky received the award at semester orientation workshops held for Miles Community College employees on Monday, August 25. Stefani Hicswa, Miles Community College President, presented the award.

Marnie Blotsky is the newly hired Director of the Miles Community College Dining Services. She has been employed with the College cafeteria for the past 13 years. Marnie began her new position responsibilities on June 1. She is a Miles City native and received her Associate of Arts degree from Dickinson State University.

As her first priority for her new director position, Marnie will work with her staff to provide excellent food services for students. She also plans to develop community awareness of the College Dining Services and that the cafeteria is open for public dining.

Her colleagues have referred to Marnie as a hard worker that takes care of students, staff, and athletic concessions. She was commended for taking her job seriously and doing it with pride.

The Miles Community College Blue and Silver award includes a gratuity from the college.
