Sophia Vernholm of Helena has been hired as the new Miles Community College Centra Wellness Coordinator. As a NFPT certified personal trainer (National Federation of Professional Trainers), Sophia will monitor the upper level of the Centra athletic facilities and assist individuals in fitness education.

Sophia has an Associate of Science degree from Sheridan College (Sheridan, WY) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Political Science from Jamestown College (Jamestown, ND).

As Centra Wellness Coordinator, Sophia's first priorities for her new position include broadening people's knowledge of fitness and increasing their passion for exercise.

She began her position on January 19.
