| Miles Community College Receives
Award from Northwest Farm Credit Services |

|
Representatives from Northwest Farm Credit Services-Miles
City presented Miles Community College with a $4,000 grant award
for the AgriEquine Complex project on Monday, April 27. The
College submitted a request to the NWFCS Rural Community Grant
competition in March in their fundraising efforts to build the
indoor arena/complex. The AgriEquine Complex project has
completed Phase I with the outdoor arena upgrades, installation
of water well and electricity, and animal pens. Phase II has
begun with the goal of $120,000 to break ground for building the
first half of the Complex so students, Equine and Agriculture
instructors, stock, and community outreach activities can be
protected by a covered facility.
Brandi Gray, MCC Endowment Executive Director, is directing the
project fundraising and chairs the MCC AgriEquine Complex
Advisory Committee. Any interested community citizens who would
like more information about the AgriEquine Complex project,
please call 874-6288 or Email
Endowment@milescc.edu.
