Miles Community College Enrollment Management Specialist and Transfer Coordinator, Erin Niedge, has been named Employee of the Spring 2009 Semester. Erin received the MCC Blue & Silver Award at the fall orientation workshops held for Miles Community College employees on Monday, August 24. Stefani Hicswa, Miles Community College President, presented Erin the award, a gratuity from the college and a personal parking space.

Erin began working at the college in March 2007. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Montana in 2005 and will receive her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Montana in 2010.

Mrs. Niedge currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Montana Post-Secondary Educational Opportunities Council and the University of Montana Alumni Association. Erin also was a 2008-2009 graduate of the Miles City Leadership Program.

Improving orientation programming at Miles Community College and creating and improving services that help MCC students transfer to a 4-year college or university are Erin’s major goals for the year. Erin’s colleagues referred to her as a very dedicated employee with strong leadership skills, is very professional and extremely organized.
