The Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) will offer the class “QuickBooks Pro 2008” on Wednesday, October 28 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Nancy Aaberge will be the instructor for this class which meets in room 314. The textbook is included with the class fee.

QuickBooks Pro 2008, a leading small business accounting software, is an amazing tool for small business management and accounting. Many small business owners are afraid of the software, don’t understand how it works or just need some refreshing on the new features of the software. If you would like to learn the ins and outs of this software, this class is for you.

This course will introduce participants to basic and more advanced concepts of QuickBooks Pro 2008. The class will also review fundamental accounting concepts. Participants will learn how to work with customer and vendor transactions, work with banking transactions and balance sheet accounts, tracking and selling of inventory, and payroll. This is an easy to understand, step-by-step, hands-on approach to learning QuickBooks Pro 2008.
