If you are interested in learning to play the guitar, Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) will offer a class in “Guitar Basics” on Monday evenings beginning February 22 through March 29. Larry Hudson is the guitar class instructor. The session times will be from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm in room 107. This class is designed for anyone age 13 or over who is interested in learning to play the guitar. Instruction will include music theory, basic strums and chords, introduction of the notes on all strings up to the fifth fret and techniques of performance.
