The Center for Academic Success at Miles Community College invites you to take part in our upcoming GED graduation ceremony on May 8, 2010. In order to participate, you must complete GED testing by April 1, 2010. Center teachers help students prepare for the GED both in class and online. All instruction and materials are free, and scholarships are available to pay official GED testing fees for qualified students. In addition to GED preparation and testing, the Center offers a variety of other free educational services. You can review basic English, math, or reading to prepare for employment, to advance in your current job, or to enter college. Is English your second language? Free ESL classes are held weekly to strengthen reading, writing, and speaking skills.

The Center will be open during the following hours through May 7, 2010:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday evening: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon
The Center will be closed for spring break March 8-12, 2010.
