| Miles Community College Offers Commercial Driver’s License Refresher Training |

If you are interested in receiving a refresher training class to prepare for the Montana Commercial Driver’s License Examination, Miles Community College will provide “CDL Test Refresher Course” through the Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO). This session will be offered Monday - Friday, May 17 through May 21 from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Jerry Forman will instruct the class in room 314.
The class is designed for those that have had previous truck driving experience. The course covers the operation, preventative maintenance and basic components of the semi truck and trailer. This course will allow the student use of MCC’s semi and trailer for supervised practice of the skill portion of the CMV test.
Topics include but are not limited to: general knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicles and safety practices for the professional driver. At the conclusion of the course students may use the MCC truck to complete the driver’s portion of the CDL examination. The student must have a valid Montana motor vehicle driver’s license with acceptable driving record and must be at least 18 years of age. Registration approval from the instructor is required.
