The Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) will offer a class in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) & first aid for non-healthcare providers. “CPR for the Non-Healthcare Provider & First Aid” will be held on Saturday, June 12 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Room 313. The instructor for the class will be Darren Pitcher.
The AHA CPR Course is designed to provide non-healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR and first aid, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is intended for individuals NOT in the healthcare field.
