Kid’s Kollege offers Kids in Motion Class at Miles Community College |

| Get your kids moving this summer with the high-energy, fun program “Kids in Motion” that will be offered through the Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) . Weekly sessions will be held at the MCC Centra Athletic Complex from July 5 through July 30 for children ages 6-9 and ages 10 and up. Jeremy Schneidt will teach the sessions with 6-9 year olds meeting from 9:00-10:30 a.m. and 10 years and up meeting from 10:30 a.m.- Noon.
Sessions will include the following:
July 5 – 9, M - F Outdoor Recreation/Activities and Fitness
July 12 – 16, M - F Basketball
July 19 – 23, M - F Baseball/Wiffle ball
July 26 – 30, M - F Flag Football
These sessions are ideal for either children who have not participated in sports and are interested in doing so or for those that have participated in sports and would like to work toward the next level or individual skills. Children of all ages will benefit from each session and will learn the rules and basics of a wide variety of sports and games. Parents can choose the activities their children are interested in and sign up for individual sessions or register for them all. For children participating in outdoor sessions, parents should send a water bottle and sunscreen. Tennis shoes are required for indoor sports.
