Gideon Memorial Bible Program

MEMORIAL BIBLE PROGRAM
The Memorial Bible Program is a service offered by The
Gideons International to provide Bibles and Testaments
as a continuing memorial to a loved one or friend. It is a
means by which persons of all denominations may provide
Bibles and Testaments as expressions of esteem and sympathy
on the decease of a friend or loved one by way of special In
Memory cards. People may also recognize special events or
accomplishments in someone’s life by sending In
Recognition Cards, and providing Bibles and Testaments
accordingly. Thinking of You Cards are used to express
Christian greetings in times of prayerful consideration.
You may dedicate Bibles in memory or in recognition of a loved one or friend.
When you donate Scriptures, The Gideons International will:
- Send a dignified In Memory, In Recognition, or Thinking of You card to a person(s) you designate, informing them of your memorial, or recognition.
- Send you a receipt for the gift, indicating the number of Bibles you are providing.
- Place these Bibles, or their equivalent value in New Testaments, in one of the 181 countries The Gideons serve.
