Programs work with the current welfare program TANF, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families.  Provides screening for post-secondary education needed for certain eligibility requirements related to TANF.  Provides career counseling and training to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient.  Provide individuals with financial assistance while becoming self-sufficient, and assist individuals in employment.  Concentrates on career assessment assistance, job seeking skills, assertiveness training/self confidence building, and a variety of other self-growth topics.
