This program worked with the current welfare program, TANF � Temporary Assistance to Needy Families.Provides screening for post-secondary education needed for certain eligibility requirements related to TANF.Provides career counseling and training to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient.Provides individuals with financial assistance while becoming self-sufficient, and assist individuals in employment.Concentrates on career assessment assistance, job seeking skills, assertiveness training/self confidence building, and a variety of other self-growth topics.These services provided to Custer, Prairie, Powder River, Garfield, McCone, and Rosebud counties.
