"Wildlife Wonders” Workshop part of Kids Kollege

Youths will have the opportunity to learn about the area’s wildlife during a “Wildlife Wonders” workshop on Wednesday, June 29 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Miles City’s Region 7 Fish, Wildlife & Parks headquarters.

Youths ages 6-13 will view FWP’s collection of animal displays, test their knowledge with Wildlife Trivia, touch animal skins and skulls and make their own animal “tracks” using plaster of Paris. They may even learn to identify animal poop, or scat! Adults are welcome to accompany their children if they wish.

There is a $5 fee for the workshop to cover the cost of materials. If the college cancels a workshop, a full refund is issued. If you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund if you withdraw before Friday, June 24.

Participants need to enroll and pay for this class by Friday, June 24 either at the MCC campus, by mail or by phone. The MCC Community Outreach Department is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday in Room 209. The mailing address is MCC Community Outreach, 2715 Dickinson St., Miles City, MT 59301. Call Carolyn Kimball at 874-6164 to enroll in the course or email her at KimballC@milescc.edu for questions.
