Bilal Clarance, a Miles Community College alumnus is now working at Apple Inc.

Miles City, MT. — Bilal Clarance, a Miles Community College alumnus is now working as an Apple Inc. software engineer.

Clarance started working for Apple in 2012 and works at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. His previous role with the company was a software engineering manager. Clarance’s current position is overseeing a group of engineers assigned to the Apple online store. Prior to joining Apple, Clarance worked in several software engineering, developing, and technology careers.

A native of Copenhagen, Denmark, he attended Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana from 2001-2003, before transferring to Northwest Missouri State and graduated from the university in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in interactive digital media.

Clarance was a member of the Pioneer men’s basketball team from 2001-2003 and the Bearcat men’s basketball team from 2003 to 2005, including the 2003-’04 squad that advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight and was inducted into Northwest’s M-Club Hall of Fame in 2014.

Continuing his basketball career after college, Clarance played basketball in Europe from 2005-2009. He was a member of the Danish men’s national team and served as captain from 2007 to 2009.

Miles Community College has graduates all over the world. It is Montana’s oldest two year college that is located in the southeastern portion of Montana in Miles City.
