Toys for Tots

The students of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) have dedicated much of their time in the past few weeks making sure those less fortunate will enjoy the Holidays.

PTK, along with MCC Student Senate, Student Nurses Association, and Ag Club, participated in Operation Christmas Child. They packaged and donated 18 totes of Christmas gifts for children overseas.

The students of PTK participated in the Toys for Tots program and purchased over $300 in toys for children in the Miles City area.

PTK also organized a food drive, donating food, non-perishable items and over $300 in cash to the Custer County Food Bank.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges. Membership requirements to join the Beta Theta Gamma Chapter at Miles Community College are based on the number of college-level classes taken, current credit load, and grade-point average. Members meet monthly to organize and plan community service activities, activities for students, and fundraisers to support members attending the Phi Theta Kappa international convention.
