MCC Nursing Program Plans Pinning Ceremony

MILES CITY, MONTANA: The Miles Community College Nursing Program has moved forward with plans for their traditional pinning ceremony for their Class of 2020 graduates.

With approval from local officials, MCC will be hosting an outdoor ceremony on Friday, June 5 at 4:00pm in Riverside Park in Miles City. Guests will be limited to MCC administration and personnel, nursing faculty, graduates, and their families. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and proper social distancing requirements, this ceremony is not open to the public. Online streaming and video recordings will be available through the school’s social media channels via Facebook and Youtube.

The college is extending measures to adhere to social distancing guidelines by arranging stage areas and student seating sections with the six-foot guideline in place. Families of the students will be responsible for their own chairs or blankets in the grassy areas of the park, while maintaining six feet of distance from other guests. The ceremony will be relocated to the MCC Centra in the case of inclement weather.
