PSA: MCC Nursing Program Sets Dates for Nursing Entrance Exam

MILES CITY, MONTANA: Miles Community College (MCC) will be offering the Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam for pre-nursing students on Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15. The exam will be offered at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on Friday and at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm on Saturday.

Registration for the exam opens Wednesday, March 15, and will remain open for 30 days. Students must pay the $20 proctoring fee to the MCC Business Office in advance. The exam is not available via Zoom proctoring and must be taken in person on the MCC Campus (no exceptions). Students must bring a current photo I.D. and a laptop. Results of the exam will be available directly afterward. Instructors encourage students to arrive early, as admittance is not allowed once the exam has begun.

This exam is for students interested in the Nursing Program at MCC who have applied to the college as pre-nursing students, completing all pre-requisite college courses needed to advance into the program. Pre-nursing students must pass all pre-requisite classes with grades earned of B- or higher and a score of 70% or higher on the Kaplan Entrance Exam before qualifying to apply to the nursing program. Complete applications are due June 1, 2023, and will be available on the MCC website.
