Summer 2026 Teachers Institute and Professional Development Opportunities

MILES CITY, MONTANA: Miles Community College is offering a variety of professional development and workforce training opportunities this summer through its 2026 Teachers Institute and continuing education programs.

Courses are designed for educators, school staff, community members, and individuals seeking new skills or certifications. Topics range from youth mental health and classroom management to writing instruction, construction workforce training, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Highlights of the Summer 2026 schedule include:

June 8 – Youth Mental Health First Aid
Evidence-based training focused on recognizing and responding to youth mental health and substance use challenges.

July 1 (Online; content available after July 1) – National Cinemas
An examination of American film through historical and cultural perspectives.

July 28 – CPR and First Aid Certification
Official Heartsaver CPR/AED certification through Montana Health Network.

These courses provide valuable opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and continuing education during the summer months.
