  1. Apply to Miles Community CollegeApply Now as a Pre-Nursing student. Students need to follow directives for submitting transcripts & registering for SOAR.

  1. Meet with Nursing Program Director for advising. There are a student must complete prior to applying for the Nursing Program

  1. Watch for October/April “Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam”Apply for Kaplan Exam dates. Registration link will be active 3-4 weeks prior to exam dates.

  1. Pre-reqs are completed with grades earned of B- or above and Kaplan entrance test completed, scoring 70% or greater. Students are ready to apply to the Nursing Program by completing the linked packet.

  1. Student’s complete Nursing Program application is due to the MCC Nursing Office by June 1.
  1. MCC Registrar will compute the selective GPA of all program applicants. The Nursing staff review all applications to place in rank & order based upon a point system.

  1. All students will receive a notification letter by the end of June. If you have been accepted into the program, your letter will contain important dates that will require you to be on campus including freshman orientation in July. At that time all students will undergo mandatory drug testing. Read the complete drug testing policy.
