A.S. Ag Education & Leadership Pathway

A.S. Ag Education & Leadership Pathway

Why Ag. Education and Leadership Pathways?

The Agricultural Education and Leadership Pathways degrees at MCC are designed to provide students with range of classes relating to Agriculture Education and Leadership Development. Students will choose between two options for their sophomore year depending on their education goals and career plans. The courses in each option are designed to be a transfer degree into Montana State University as it aligns with their 4-year Agricultural Education and Agricultural Leadership Programs.

For students planning to transfer and pursue Agricultural Education at a four-year college or university other than MSU, please visit with the program advisor to assist with planning course work that aligns to the intended transfer institution as the A.S. Agriculture and Natural Resources Pathway may be a better fit.

This program will provide you with:

  • Prepare students for a transfer Agriculture Education and Leadership degree;
  • Provide coursework on a wide range of agriculture subjects for their continuation in Ag Education;
  • Prepares students to educate others;
  • Learn the importance of teaching students of all ages.

Once the student has completed their Freshman Year, they can choose the track which meets their education goals.
