Director of Nursing: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing. The Director will be responsible for overall leadership and administration of the nursing and allied health programs and for ensuring programs are in compliance with rules and regulations of the accrediting bodies.  The position is also responsible for coordinating the nursing and allied health curriculum with other degree program requirements. Applicants must have strong oral and written communication skills to present information to stakeholders and accrediting agencies, as well as work with healthcare facilities throughout the region to provide clinical lab experiences for students.  
 
Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in nursing from a nationally recognized accredited program.  A current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Montana. At least two years of experience in nursing practice.  At least two years of experience in nursing education and educational preparation or experience in curriculum development and administration.

Full Time Nursing Instructor: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is seeking a dynamic, learning-centered, student-oriented individual to instruct nursing students for our Associate Degree Registered Nurse Program.  This is a full-time, nine-month teaching appointment which is renewable annually based upon satisfactory job performance.  Contract start date is August 2023.  Overload and summer teaching opportunities are sometimes available.  The college provides a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in clinical nursing.  Teaching experience preferred. Unencumbered RN license in the State of Montana Required.

Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for three part-time Clinical Resource Registered Nurses (CRRN), two in the Glendive area and one in the Miles City area to assist with supervision of nursing students in clinical activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Nursing preferred. Associates degree required. A clinical resource registered nurse (CRRN) is an RN with an unencumbered nursing licenses who provide supervision, demonstration, and collaborative evaluation performance in a clinical or laboratory setting.

Full-Time Agri-Business Instructor and Livestock Judging Coach: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is seeking a dynamic, learning-centered, student-oriented individual to teach Agriculture courses (Ag - Business, Economics, Marketing) and Livestock Judging Team Leadership to students who have a wide range of preparation, abilities and backgrounds.  Successful candidates must have a strong interest in working in rural community college with student engagement focus, abilities to develop curriculum and teach in multiple venues including classroom, hybrid and on-line. Miles Community College is a small rural comprehensive community college located in Miles City, the hub of a large but sparsely populated service area extending over a nine-county agricultural region of southeastern Montana.  
 
This is a full-time, nine-month teaching appointment which is renewable annually based upon satisfactory job performance.  Initial placement on the salary schedule is dependent upon academic credentials and creditable work experience.  Contract start date is mid-August 2023.  Overload and summer teaching opportunities are sometimes available.  The college provides a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree in Agriculture or closely related field.  Effective public and interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to the role of the community college are a must.  Preference will be given to applicants with successful prior teaching or livestock judging experience.  Expertise in additional related areas such as animal science, agricultural business/economics/marketing and leadership is desirable. Preferred experience includes teaching experience at community college/university or K-12 institutions, teaching Hyflex or online courses and service learning.
