About this Role
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the College’s recruitment efforts, which includes travel to college and career fairs and high school visits, conducting campus tours, coordination of Preview Days and campus visits, and communications with prospective and new students of all ages, backgrounds, and academic interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the College at high schools, fairs, and community events to promote programs and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors and staff in assigned territories.
- Communicate academic programs, continuing education, and workforce opportunities to prospective students and stakeholders.
- Guide prospective students through admissions, advising, and connecting with campus resources.
- Plan and support recruitment events.
Qualifications:Required:
- Associate’s degree. Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products and databases, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and can travel long distances, drive at night and in inclement weather, lift 40 pounds, work occasional evenings and weekends, ability to obtain a passport, and present oneself in a professional manner.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience in sales, college recruiting, or marketing.
- Previous experience with a student information system or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Part-Time Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (CRRN): Full Description (PDF)Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for a student-centered, organized, and collaborative professional to serve as a part-time Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (CRRN) in the Glendive area.
About the Role
This individual will work under the direction of the lead nursing course instructor to support student success in clinical and lab settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned students
- Coordinate clinical schedules and assignments
- Contribute to evaluations, progressing notes and feedback on written work
- Support curriculum and policy development
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Facilitate learning through simulations and demonstrations in skills lab
Provide timely, meaningful feedback to nursing students on written assignments, during face-to-face discussions, and in real-time learning situations
Qualifications:Required:
- Associate of Nursing
- Unencumbered Montana nursing license
- Bring a minimum of two years of comprehensive bedside nursing experience including practice in long-term care, Med/Surgical, and similar clinical settings.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Five years of direct patient care to include, but not limited to: Med/Surgical unit, OB unit, or long-term Care unit
