Bookstore Manager: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for a Bookstore Manager.  
The Manager is responsible for ordering, purchasing, budgeting, accounting and supervisory duties. Willingness and ability to provide exceptional customer service, superior organizational and interpersonal skills is highly desired. Computer skills required. This position is a ¾ time position (30 hours per week) with a flexible summer schedule.

Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred in business related field.  Three to five years of retail experience preferred.

Head Women's Softball Coach: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is seeking a knowledgeable, energetic, and student-focused Head Women’s Softball Coach to lead our competitive NJCAA softball program. This full-time, exempt position provides program leadership, including player development, recruitment, practice and game management, scheduling, budget oversight, and supervision of coaching staff.
 
Miles City is a welcoming eastern Montana community known for its strong support of MCC athletics. MCC Softball competes at a high level in the region and has a strong history of postseason success, academic achievement, and transfer of student-athletes to four-year programs. The College offers excellent athletic facilities, including softball field, indoor practice and hitting space, fitness center access, and year-round training resources. MCC coaches join a community that takes pride in supporting student-athletes both on and off the field.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage all aspects of the softball program, including player development, practice planning, game strategy, season scheduling, and team travel.
    • Recruit student-athletes who demonstrate athletic ability, academic potential, and alignment with MCC values.
    • Monitor academic progress, support retention, and ensure compliance with NJCAA eligibility requirements.
    • Manage program budget, equipment, and purchasing, including timely documentation of expenses.
    • Coordinate fundraising and community engagement efforts to support team needs and enhance program visibility.
Foster a team culture rooted in academic achievement, accountability, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Qualifications:
    • Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Coaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of softball skill development, recruiting, practice planning, and game management.

Full Time Math Instructor: Full Description (PDF)
Miles Community College is seeking a full-time Math instructor to teach in areas including but not limited to: Statistics, Algebra, Algebra for Nursing, precalculus and calculus.  Strong interest in working in rural community college with student engagement focus, abilities to develop curriculum and teach in multiple venues including the classroom, hyflex and on-line.   
This is a full-time, nine-month teaching appointment which is renewable annually based upon satisfactory job performance.  Initial placement on the salary schedule is dependent upon academic credentials and creditable work experience.  Contract start date is August 2026.  Overload and summer teaching opportunities are available.  The college provides a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree in Math or related field.  Effective public and interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to the role of the community college are a must.  Successful prior teaching experience is desired.  Preferred experience includes teaching experience at community college/university or K-12 institutions and experience in hyflex and online courses

MCC Baseball has a proud legacy of success, producing championship-level teams, All-Region athletes, and numerous student-athletes who successfully transfer to four-year programs. The community takes great pride in Pioneer Baseball, creating an energetic and supportive environment for coaches and student-athletes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead all aspects of the baseball program: player development, practice planning, game strategy, scheduling and travel.
    • Recruit student-athletes and support academic advising/eligibility to meet enrollment goals.
    • Manage program budget and document expenditures.
    • Ensure compliance with NJCAA rules and MCC policies.
Participate in fundraising activities, community engagement, and assigned campus committees.

    • Associates degree required; bachelors degree preferred.
